Day 1 - Drive to Hawassa

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Hawassa, traversing the breathtaking Rift Valley lakes and lush vegetation. We'll pass through the charming towns of Koka and Ziway along the way. Overnight in Haile resort or Similar

Day 2 - Visit the Fish Market & Wendo Genet

Embark on a fascinating journey to the bustling Fish Market by Lake Hawassa, where you'll witness the authentic fishing process from start to finish. Observe the fishermen as they haul in their daily catch, and then see how the fresh seafood is transformed into a delectable final product. As you explore the market, you'll have the opportunity to indulge in a variety of fish dishes. Afternoon, head to Wendo Genet, a scenic retreat that was once a favorite spot for the royal family. Emperor Haile Selassie named it 'Wondo Paradise' due to its breathtaking views, lush forests, and diverse wildlife. Take a leisurely hike through the forest and streams, and then unwind with a rejuvenating soak in the natural mineral hot springs, renowned for their healing properties. Day 3 - Drive to Yirgalem

In the morning, drive to Yirgalem, a picturesque town surrounded by coffee farms. Take a stroll through the plantations and experience the rich culture of the Sidama people, visit their traditional villages and get a glimpse into their daily life, learning about their customs and traditions. Overnight in Aregash Lodge or similar

Day 4 - Drive to Dilla via Aleta Wendo - Tutu Fella Stele and Machiti Rock Engraving

After breakfast, drive to Alet Wondo (27 Km). Visit the Wottona Boltuma Coffee Cooperative. Then proceed to Dila. After check in, visit Tutu Fella Stele Field and Machiti Rock Engraving. Overnight in Saron Lodge or similar

Day 5 - Excursion to Yirega Cheffe Coffee Cooperatives

After breakfast, drive to Yirga Cheffe to visit Yirga Cheffe Coffee Cooperatives. Drive back to Dilla. Afternoon, walk through one of the natural coffee villages in Dilla. Overnight in Saron Lodge or similar

Day 6 - Drive to Langano

After breakfast, drive to Langano. Before check in to hotel, start exploring Abjata Shala National Park, named after the twin lakes, covers an area of 887 square kilometers. The park is characterized by diverse flora, including open grasslands, savannas, and woodlands dominated by Acacia trees. The park is home to 76 species of mammals, including gazelles, antelopes, and primates, as well as over 300 bird species, including endemic and migratory species. The park is also a habitat for several endemic species, including the wattled ibis and yellow-fronted parrot, which are only found in Ethiopia. After visit proceed to Langano. Overnight in Sabana Resort or Similar.

Day 7 - Visit Castel Winery’s - Return to Addis

Before/after breakfast, you will have a leisure time to relax, swim, walk, or jog on the shore of Lake Langano. Then, return to Addis Ababa. On the way, explore the nearby Vineyard, Castel Winery, learn the process from grape to bottle, discover the art of wine-making and get up close to the aging process. And of course, savor the best of Castel Winery's wines and appreciate the harmony of tradition and innovation. In the afternoon, return back to Addis and drop-off at your place. End of the trip.
