In the morning, according to your schedule, flight to Jimma (ET231 ADDJIM 08:25-09:30). Up on your arrival at Jimma airport, welcomed by your driver and guide and transfer and debut your tour in the historic city Jimma by discovering the impressive palace of Abba Jifar II, stands with colorful architectural beauty, constructed by the cost of 400 kg of Gold and 65,000 Maria Theresa Dollars during the end of 1860’s. Furthermore, explore the nearby thrilling mosque of Masgiida Afurtema, one of the biggest mosque from the area, named after the 40 pilgrims who used to perform prayers, built during the reign of Aba Jifar II. Then, walk to Graveyards of The Royal family explore the graveyards of various royal families including the tomb of Abba Jifar the II. Moreover, visit the historical graveyard, Quba of Shiek AbdulHakim located near to the palaces of king Abba Jifar II , known by the place of Saffara Civet cat. In the afternoon, drive to Bonga. On the way, visit the nearby breathtaking Seka Chekorsa Waterfall. Enjoy the African-like vibe accompanied by motor bikers in the village of Saka. Then proceed to Bonga, passing through the gigantic serene expanses of Belete Gera Forest, one of the larger remaining tracts of forest left in the country. If time allows, short stops and walks inside the beautiful dense natural forest. Then, keep driving to Bonga. Overnight in Hotel/Guest House.
After breakfast, explore Kaffa Biosphere Reserve, registered as UNESCO biosphere reserve, impressive natural scenery, spectacular wildlife and intact evergreen forest, the place in the world where wild coffee (Coffea arabica) grows in abundance. The Kafa Biosphere Reserve is known for its beautiful nature as well as unique flora and fauna. The region's biodiversity document a large number of species: 300 species of mammals including 14 carnivore as well as 8 monkey, 300 bird species, 244 plant species and more than 110 tree species. Hike inside the reserve with picnic lunch. You will also visit the impressive Berta Waterfall and the rural villages of Kaffa people. After visit, return to Jimma. Overnight in Dololo Hotel or Similar.
In the morning, visit the finest Jumma Museum, features the majority of King Abba Jifar's historical artifacts as well as items representing the local Oromo people's culture, king's personal furniture, which includes armchairs, utensils, sacred manuscripts, and beds from Abba Jifar. Then visit Cinema Roma, built by Italian around 1938, for showing their moves for their Nation, located at the center of the town in front of Gojeb Hotel (Bar Prichipe). Lunch will be at Nigus Palace Restaurant. In the afternoon, according to your schedule, flight back to Addis Ababa (ET132 JIM-ADD 17:10-18:10). End of the trip.
